"Since July you have kindly arranged for Kirkwood Care to help my husband with personal care and also, for one day per week, to provide a carer to remain in the home all day while I went to work. My husband's health has improved considerably over the past few weeks. He now no longer feels he needs a carer during the day as he can walk reasonably well in the house and fend for himself if I am not at home. We have been extremely pleased with the standards of care and carers and the flexibility Kirkwood have shown in arranging day care when my work schedule was not organised properly in advance. Although it made no practical difference to us I was impressed that the carers who came to our home both had an excellent command of English, so there was never any chance of confusion or misunderstandings. I have been very grateful and sincerely hope not to have to call upon your assistance again!"

"My 92 year old father-in-law was very well looked after by Jane and her team of carers. At times he could be awkward but they dealt with the situations in a caring and professional manner. They never missed any of their slots and always greeted him by name on arrival.
His carers assisted him with his washing and dressing in the morning and gave him his dinner at lunch time. His medication was given to him morning and evening.
By having Kirkwood Care look after my father-in-law it enabled him to stay in his house longer. I would certainly recommend their services."
